Vacaville Art League is featuring Cathy McClelland's second showing of 'The Journey of Life' exhibit. This collection of paintings is comprised of the major arcana of Cathy's 'Star Tarot' series, that consists of 22 images. The Journey of Life will be a spiritual interactive exhibit. Each image will lead one to the next image, with descrïptions of the symbols, lessons and messages that touch the heart and soul.

Cathy is an established acrylic painter whose artwork reflects her love of nature, symbolism, spiritualism and mythical subjects. She studied illustration at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco. She has worked as an illustrator, art director,
designer, muralist and painter. Her work combines painting by hand and use of an airbrush, giving her creations a feeling of depth and the soft magical beauty of nature.

Cathy states "Nature and the mystery of the universe play a big part with my inspiration. I like to weave the two together in my
creations, hoping to inspire others to enjoy the beauty of nature
and the world around us. Our world is full of miracles and magic. We just need to recognize the beauty and truth of this, and bring it into our lives and into our hearts. I hope that my artwork can be a contribution to others in that direction."

The exhibit will run form June1 through July 6, with opening
