A cross-section of individuals Vallejo, Ca. are collaborating to “Stop the Violence” in our city. The first step is a three day event including a memorial vigil; a youth rally; and a musical drama.  For ongoing activities, members are formulating ideas like mentoring and after school programs; parenting skills; build awareness of peaceful alternatives; start a PeaceJam Club; anger management classes; music recording; local service projects; develop entrepreneurship; field trips; embed the arts within school curricula.

Weekly meetings are being held at Merrill Gardens at NorthBay on Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m.
